Sales Tax

The sales tax rate of Scrap Force Scrapbooking Store is 8.375% as of April, 2009. This is according with California city, county, and state laws, and the California State Board of Equalization.

Your personal information will never be sold or given to others or to any third party for any reason, including your first and last name, mailing address, shipping address, phone numbers, etc. Any and all information is for the sole use of processing orders. We are not in the habit of spamming your email or physical mailbox with advertising or spam, nor do we sell any information about you to spammers. We do not currently have a sales newsletter but if you would like to be on our mailing list to be notified of sales or markdowns in the future, please let us know.

Security

Identity theft and credit card fraud is a major concern for us for your well-being and safety. Scrap Force is a sole proprietorship, meaning, there is only one employee, minimizing contact with your information. Your information, particularly credit card information and information of concern for your safety and security, is left on the Auctiva Commerce server, and never transferred to another server or computer system. Scrap Force computers or laptops will never have your information saved on file, and even if it was, our systems are password protected and make use of new computerized fingerprint entry systems, similar to what hospitals and pharmacies now use for locking up controlled substances. We also use a new form of information protecting software called a digital vault. The owner of Scrap Force is a veteran of the United States Air Force Nurse Corps, a long time registered nurse, a trained advocate for victims of assault, a registered and licensed professional at state and federal levels, fingerprint and DNA registered with federal agencies, and lives her life under the highest integrity. We hold our site out to be one of the safest people to shop from and one of the safest places on the web to shop for scrapbooking supplies.

Additional Security Practices

Any printed information is shredded as soon as it is no longer needed (e.g. shipping label or invoice) using new, up to date, industry leading office shredders, with state of the art anti-theft features. We use shredding techniques recommended by anti identity theft experts such as the FBI and credit reporting agencies. For when we do print your information, rest assured we use industry leading anti-virus and firewall software and update it daily. We anti-virus scan routinely. We stay alert for and report phishing and spam activity. We report violators promptly to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Shipping

Different shipping speeds are available. The item listing will include the standard shipping route for that item for sale. Combined shipping is available, however some combined orders may ship a portion from our office and the rest from a couple different warehouses.
